Danielle has always had a passion for the
arts, and started dancing at the young age of two years old. She is a
graduate of the Dance Performance Studies Program at George Brown College.
While attending George Brown, she was a part of the touring performance
ensemble and performed in many shows across Ontario. Danielle also had the
opportunity to perform many pieces of repertoire from Ballet Jorgen Canada,
and also had the chance to perform in Ballet Jorgen Canada's production of
"Anastasia". Danielle is also in a professional Bollywood dance company,
where she has performed at many great events such as PRIDE Toronto, and
performed on Breakfast Television for the DVD premier of "Slumdog
Millionaire". She also performed in the opening number of the Toronto
Gilda's club performance of "It's always something'' with Canadian stars
such as, Russell Peters, The Four Tenors, Divine Brown and Steven Page.
Danielle was also part of Season 2 of So You Think You Can Dance Canada,
where she received praise from Mary Murphy (So You Think You Can Dance, U.S).
She also has been choreographing different dance pieces, and has had the
chance to perform them in cabaret shows, dance festivals as well as PRIDE
Toronto. Danielle has worked with top choreographers in Las Vegas as well as
New York City including, Mia Michaels, Wade Robson, Shane Sparks and Dave
Scott. Danielle was also awarded the title of ''I love Dance Sweetheart''
for three years, and performed in two gala shows at Caesar's Palace in Las
Vegas. She also played many roles in ''The Nutcracker'' including, The Sugar
Plum Fairy, The Snow Queen and the Nutcracker. Danielle was also a part of
the Junior Associates program at the National Ballet School, and attended
Quinte Ballet School's Professional Summer School. Danielle is accomplished
in theatre and vocals and was awarded the "Vocal Excellence Award" from
George Brown Dance. Danielle's has also received special awards for her
choreography, and her students have been awarded top overall marks at
competitions. Teaching is one of Danielle's passions, and there is nothing
more rewarding to her, than seeing her students succeed! Danielle is excited
for another amazing year with the students of KUT! |
