| BALLET | BALLET: Ballet is the foundation to all dance. It instils strong technique and proper form into a dancer's body. Ballet not only is a strong art form on its own, but it helps a dancer in all forms of dance, from jazz to tap and even hip-hop. Technique in ballet focuses on turnout, which helps with a dancer's flexibility. Pointe work is also offered to dancers over the age of 12. |

| JAZZ | JAZZ: Jazz dance is a very strong discipline. There are many different styles of jazz, starting from classic jazz-to-jazz funk. It incorporates techniques from ballet. Jazz focuses on style, which helps a dancers artistic progression. The technique in jazz focuses on working in a parallel position, which also helps a dancer in styles such as tap and hip-hop. Exams are offered in this style. |
